Percentage Notification of Hours Worked
Student workers and their labor supervisors will receive email notifications when a student has worked 50%, 70% and 90% of their contracted hours. The student’s labor position will be frozen once the student has worked the maximum hours allocated for the position – see details below.

The TRACY UltraTime System automatically freezes a position once the student works the maximum hour allocated. |
Summer Term
Maximum hours allocated is based on the number entered, by the labor supervisor, into the electronic Labor Status Form for the summer term. For example, if the student is contracted to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks, the Labor Supervisor would enter 480 hours.
Students will receive the following notifications for Fall, Spring and Summer Terms

- YOUR LABOR POSITION HAS BEEN FROZEN
Body of Percentage Notification
The position will be frozen once you have worked the maximum hours contracted for the position (see attached report for details). Once frozen you will not be allowed to work in the position or submit additional hours.
Body of the Frozen Notification
Your labor position has been frozen based on your working at or beyond the maximum hours allocated for the summer position. For the rest of the summer you will not be allowed to work in the position or submit additional hours. Contract your labor supervisor if you have any questions
Labor Supervisors will receive the following notifications for Fall, Spring and Summer Terms

- One or more of your labor students has worked over 70% of their contracted hours
- One or more of your labor students has worked over 90% of their contracted hours
- THE LABOR POSITION OF ONE OR MORE OF YOUR STUDENTS HAS BEEN FROZEN
Body of the Percentage Notification
Based on the hours reported to date one or more of your student workers has worked xx% of their summer contracted hours (see attached report for details). Once the student works the maximum hours allocated for the position the student will no longer be able to clock-in or submit hours.
Body of the Frozen Notification
The labor position of one or more of your students has been frozen based on working at or beyond the maximum hours allocated for the position(s) (see attached report for details). Do not allow the student(s) to work in the position or submit additional hours. Contact the labor office if you have any questions or concerns.
