LES 215 American Law Principles
Prerequisite: L&I 100 (or waiver), or GSTR 110 (or waiver), or Permission of Instructor
This course introduces students to the study of contemporary law systems in the United States. The course considers law as a mechanism used to structure human societies, address conflicts, effect social change, and regulate social, political, ethical/moral, and economic issues that arise for institutions, organizations, and individuals. In addition, students will become familiar with the distinctive practices of common law methodology.
