MAT 214 Linear Algebra

Prerequisite: MAT 135 or permission of instructor

This course illustrates the nature of mathematics as a blend of techniques, theory, abstraction, and applications. The problem of solving linear equations leads to the algebra of matrices, determinants, vector spaces, bases and dimensions, linear transformations and eigenvalues.
