L&I 200 L&I: Discoveries

Prerequisite: L&I 100 (or waiver).

Discoveries builds on the foundation to the liberal arts and writing introduced in L&I 1: Explorations.  Each course investigates a subject of faculty choosing from beyond a single disciplinary approach.  Emphasis in each section will be placed on learning how to conduct research, analyzing the quality of source materials, developing an argument, crediting sources, and communicating arguments in writing and orally.
