Philosophy Minor

Degree Requirements

A minor in Philosophy is designed to complement a student’s interests and study pursued in other disciplines. The minor requires a minimum of five (5) course credits, as follows:

Required Core Courses

One (1) logic course chosen from

One (1) history of philosophy course chosen from

PHI 305Classical Philosophy

PHI 310Philosophy: Descartes to Kant

PHI 315Kant & Philosophical Legacies

Required Distribution Courses

At least three (3) additional PHI courses, chosen in consultation with the Department, one of which must be above the 100 level
